Mothers Day Contest Entries

Entry 1:

The first time I saw My son the most Memorable moment of being a mom.

Entry 2:

I used to laugh at mom for carrying a big pocket book. Well what do you think I carry now that I have children a big pocket book! I'm turning into my mom.

Entry 3:

My moms full time job was being at home with me for the simple fact that when I was three years old I told her I would be sick if she left me with the sitter again. Sure enough I was sick and after that it seemed like her responsibility to be mom to everyone that needed it. From her thirty five year old neighbor or a lady at the cleaners. I got it honestly. Work, kids at home, neighbors and down to the clerks at the grocery store I hear it all and try to give good advice if asked.
I guess I make a good sounding board. Either way both of my kids don't mind coming to me with good or bad news and  that was one of the good things I got from my mom.

Entry 4:

I can say I have had plenty of those days. After having 3 beautiful children, I can surely say I can see my mother coming out in me! One thing particular that I declare, I am just like my mother. I find myself going the extra mile to fix meals that my children love and a little extra! I remember my mother getting so much pleasure cooking for me and my siblings and seeing how much we enjoyed it. Like my mother getting so much pleasure cooking for me and my seeing how much we enjoyed it. Like my mother......I go out my way to pamper my kids and go out my way to be there for them. If they need something for school, or just a shoulder to to cry on, I find myself acting like her. Caring and treating them as a person with needs, wants and feelings. My mother is a great inspiration to me and I hope my children will one day maybe tell others about their mother and how they see me in them.
